PROs and CONs: Smart Phones
So you’re thinking about getting a smartphone and you’re wondering if it’s going to make your life easier or more complicated. If you had the same dilemma signing up for Direct tv you may be a tech-phobesomeone scared of new technologies. Making a Pro and Con list can help, so we’ve gotten you started with the smart phone argument
PRO: It’s a major time saver if you’re constantly using your laptop for simple tasks like looking up weather or movie times.
CON: It’s not a time saver if you’re the type to constantly reset your settings, play with ringtones, etc.
PRO: It’s a money saver if it means you can get rid of your mobile internet.
CON: It’s not a money saver if you’ve got a flip phone and it’s working out well for you.
PRO: It can take the place of a traditional Garmin or TOM TOM Navigation unit and it’s constantly updating itself.
CON: You’ve got to pay for a data plan and keep the phone charged to use these features.
There are a lot of things to weigh but these were just a few to get you started. Make your own list and decide when’s the right time for a smart phone.
